Day 1: Airport

It's taken us a few hours to get here but that's ok! Neo's car is super comfortable and he decided to take the scenic route. Since I came here for University I haven't had much chance to explore. I never realised just how beautiful the surrounding area was. I totally understand why Nico decided to buy an apartment here.

It's 10 am now, and we're waiting for our gate to be called. Security and baggage check was confused as to why I didn't have anything on me other than my wallet, phone and passport. I figured it'd be a common thing for people to just randomly travel, but I guess not!

We've found this cute little bar that overlooks the runway. It's actually sunny outside for a change, so we're chilling and catching some rays! Neo looks a little uncomfortable, but he's wearing sunglasses which I think is helping.

I wonder if there's a small backpack I can buy in duty-free? I should be able to stuff it with snacks and maybe some games to play on the plane. I'm not sure where we're going or how long the flights gonna be! I told Neo to surprise me, all he said was to dress for warm weather!
